Today I have a disposable vape review for you.
Yes I know, another disposable, but that’s the way of the vaping world right now. The rise of disposable vapes is something that we have to live with. Those who don’t like disposables will no doubt be frustrated, but if you’re into disposable vapes then the seemingly never ending stream of new devices hitting the market is great.
No matter what side of the fence you’re on, the disposable that I’m reviewing today is a fairly interesting one.
That’s because I’m reviewing VapeBull Kratos 6000 disposables which feature Corex heating tech — the same technology used by RELX for their latest coils.
From my research, Kratos is manufactured by VapeBull and that’s awesome. Vapebull has partnered with SMOORE International, the parent company of VapeBull , in order to use Corex heating in their Kratos 6000. SMOORE International’s research and development spending is insane and so it’s reasonable to believe that some of that spending has gone into making the VapeBull Kratos 6000 as good of a disposable as it can possibly be.
Each of these disposables has a metal casing which comes prefilled with 15ml of ejuice. These are rated for up to 6000-8000 puffs and they pack a 750mAh rechargeable battery that charges with Type-C charging. The Vapebull is available in 50mg nicotine strength only. At the time of writing this review there are eleven flavors available.
Does Corex heating tech make a noticeable and positive difference for Kratos6000 disposables? You’ll find out in this review.
Size: 80mm x 45mm x 20mm
750mAh battery
Type-C Charging
50mg (5%) nicotine strength
Up to 6000 puffs
Prefilled with 15ml of ejuice
Corex Mesh Coil
10 Flavors
As more and more disposables saturate the market, brands are realizing that they have to do a little something different with their design in order to stand out. For VapeBull K, they’ve gone with a hybrid metal and plastic shell that definitely does the trick. Although I personally think that these would have looked even better with an all-metal shell, the hybrid look is still very nice.
The plastic portion of the casing is up top and it makes up a little less than half of the whole device. This plastic is a gloss white, with a colored Puffmi logo. The color of the logo corresponds to the flavor that you get. For example, cranberry grape has a pink/purple logo, while strawberry kiwi has a dark green logo.
Puffmi’s logo is a cursive font and I think that it’s one of the nicest logos that I’ve seen. It’s simple and communicates the brand, while also being stylish and classy.
This logo, along with “Kratos 6000” and the flavor of the disposable are all that is on the plastic casing. It’s a clean looking device all around. The drip tip is one-piece with the rest of the plastic and it’s a nice height and size. The mouthpiece flares open though, which makes it easy for dust and lint to become trapped in the opening.
The bottom half of the Kratos 6000 is made of metal. It has a silver, matte metallic finish that looks great and it has survived a few drops so it’s durable too. Near the bottom of the metal casing portion you can see a COREX logo, which is the mesh coil/heating technology inside.
Overall I like the appearance of the Kratos 6000. Something else that I like is the size. The small box shape is easily concealable and makes it easy to take a few stealth puffs here and there. Each one is only 80mm tall, 45mm wide, and 20mm thick, including the drip tip. They’re a nice size to throw in your pocket and you can carry a few of these on you at once, no problem.
Each Kratos 6000 has a lot to offer in a tiny package. There’s 15ml of ejuice inside of each one and a 750mAh rechargeable battery. Together, this means up to 6000 puffs from each device which is really good for the size.
Like other disposables, these are draw activated. There are no buttons or switches and nothing to adjust. Once you take them out of the packaging and remove the rubber seal in the mouthpiece and the sticker from the bottom of the device, you can inhale on the mouthpiece to start vaping. That’s it.
The standout feature of these disposables is, of course, their use of COREX heating technology. This is the same coil technology used by VapeBull on some of their latest devices, so it’s really cool to see it used in a disposable device.
But what exactly does this mean? To break it down, COREX tech is the type of mesh that is used inside. It has a unique structure that heats up more evenly, and these coils also use cumulus cotton for better wicking and flavor.
I’ve used some of VapeBull’s devices with COREX coils and the flavor and performance are bonkers. These are disposables so obviously they don’t have the same power output as a mod, but you can still taste the positive difference that COREX makes to the flavor.
Puffmi offers eleven flavors for their Kratos 6000 disposables. These are all fruit-based flavors and there are no candy, tobacco, or dessert flavors available. However, there is one “Ice” and two mint flavors, so there are options (albeit not many) for menthol/ice vapers. These flavors are:
watermelon ice
strawberry mango
strawberry kiwi
mango peach
strawberry banana
triple berry ice
Pineapple coconut ice
blue razz lemon
Cool Mint
Pink Lemonade
Cranberry Grape
Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava
Of these flavors, I received four for this review: Puffmint, Strawberry Kiwi,. Cranberry Grape, and Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava. I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t receive the entire lineup to try, especially since I really wanted to try their Raspberry Lemon, Ruby Red Grapefruit, and Red Apple. Still, I think that the flavors that I received give a good insight into how their flavors are in general, which is tasty and enjoyable.
I’m going to describe how five of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.
Right off the bat I taste the cranberry from this flavor. It has a bitter and sweet taste and I can almost feel my tongue getting funny from the cranberry. This is followed up quickly by a strong and bold grape flavor which dominates the flavor profile until the exhale. I can still taste the cranberry notes throughout the exhale, but the grape is much stronger. This is a very interesting flavor and I suggest that you try it out.
This is a very clean spearmint flavor that has the perfect amount of sweetness to make it enjoyable. The cooling is strong and the light sweet notes really balance it all out. I like that the sweet spearmint taste stays consistent throughout the inhale and the exhale.
This is one of those flavors where the fruit flavors mix and come in and out as the draw progresses. I’ll start tasting strawberries, only to quickly start tasting kiwi, and then strawberry again, etc… Both fruit flavors are accurate but with a touch of added sweetness to make it all that much more enjoyable. The kiwi flavor plays a slightly stronger role than the strawberry flavor here but they’re very close to being equal.
There are a lot of flavors going on here and this makes for a nice cocktail of tropical fruits. The strength of each fruit is in accordance with the name, so Kiwi is the strongest, followed by passion fruit, and then guava. I found this flavor to be a lot like strawberry kiwi, where the flavors kind of come in and out throughout the draw.
Since these use COREX heating tech, the same coil and wick technology that is used by some of VapeBull’s latest and greatest devices, you can already guess that the performance is good. I found that the performance of the Kratos 6000’s to be excellent across a variety of categories, including the warmth of the vapor, the flavor, and the consistency of each puff. I don’t think that these are leagues ahead of other great disposables, but they have a bit of an edge over some of their competition.
The flavor from all of the disposables that I tried is very strong and bold. It’s easy to make out what each flavor is and I found myself going “Oh yeah, I taste that” with each flavor. I’m not sure if it’s the COREX coil that is making the difference, but the accuracy of the flavors is also really good. The name of the flavor is what you get, which is what you hope for anytime that you purchase a disposable.
As far as the vapor goes, these produce a decent amount. The draw is at the right level of warmth for me and isn’t too cool but a nice medium level of warmth. I also find the draw from these Kratos 6000’s to be really smooth while still delivering the body sensation that you expect to get from a 50mg disposable. They’re satisfying to vape on and you don’t have to take too many puffs to feel that satisfaction either.
The mouth to lung draw from these is nice, but I don’t think that it really stands out from any other disposable. It’s a good draw though and that’s good enough for me.
Finally, consistency is something that I noticed with these disposables. Each draw is just the same as the last, even as I got into the hundreds of puffs range. They keep their flavor and deliver the same performance every time.
VapeBull's Kratos 6000 disposables are great, just as they should be for a device that uses COREX heating tech.
I’m glad to see that they performed as good as I expected and their performance solidly places these disposables as one of the best options that I’ve tried.
There’s a lot to love about these, from their metal casing and sleek looks, to their great flavor options and satisfying draw. I like how accurate the flavors are and how true they are to their name. If you purchase Strawberry Kiwi, that’s what you’re getting. There’s no ambiguity, and I like that a lot.
Another thing that the Kratos 6000 does well is the consistency. Each puff tastes the same as the last, with no drop off in performance even after hundreds of puffs. This is a key selling point for these devices and makes them a really good pick up, especially when you consider the other positives that they bring to the table.
If you’re thinking about getting VapeBull's Kratos 6000 ’s then your thinking is on the right track. Pick a flavor that you think you’ll like and I think that you’ll be happy with the experience that it delivers.
